Fluid maintenance
Hytec's Smart Fluid Technology programme allows the company to employ its state of the art laboratory and expertise in fluid technology to assist clients in achieving peak operating efficiency. From oil sampling to detailed analysis, this world-class service has the potential to greatly improve the management of hydraulic systems in any plant.
Water
in oil is a dangerous contaminant that must be
removed as quickly as possible so that systems
can operate effectively. The HFT water detection
basket includes cutting-edge inventions like the
AS 1000 AquaSensor, an advanced tool for
detecting water in oil. It measures the water
content relative to the saturation concentration
and outputs the degree of saturation as a 4-20
mA signal. Simultaneously, the AS 1000 can be
used to determine the temperature. In so doing,
it enables hydraulic and lubrication fluids to
be accurately and continuously monitored online.
HFT offers a complete water detection kit as
standard.
For
customers who would like to put our Smart Fluid
Technology programme to the test, an oil sample
kit with 15 sample bottles per box, including an
Oil Sample Reference book, is available for
R2165-00 per box, which includes analysis of the
oil.
The
CS 1000 Series of contamination sensors from
Hydac features the company’s latest generation
of particle counters for continuous monitoring
of solid contamination in fluids. Small and
tough, the attractive cost-performance ratio of
this product makes it especially interesting for
OEM-applications.
The

1000 can be used to simultaneously determine the
temperature of the oil and output it as a 4-20
mA signal. In so doing, the AS 1000 enables
hydraulic and lubrication fluids to be monitored
— accurately, continuously and on line.
